            I bought Hustler’s Rock-It Vibe on an impulse while sex toy browsing with some friends one day. What’s great is out of all of the options the store had, the Rock-It Vibe was perfect for me. It’s small. It’s not shaped like an animal or anything funny looking. It’s cheap. It comes in pretty colors. Did I mention it’s cheap? I think I spent about $8 total for mine, tax included (though I think I’ve seen it priced as high as $10 and as low as $5) And it’s a vibrator. At the time I was very new to the world of vibrators, and to find something so small, normal looking and affordable was a great treat for me. After working long hours, going to school, and stuck in a high-stress internship, the Hustler Rock-It Vibe was exactly what I needed to give myself a little boost!

            The Rock-It Vibe kind of looks like a little rocket, which is probably where they got the name. A little longer than my palm, the easy to clean hard plastic toy is about four inches long (I’m guessing), with the Hustler logo on the side. (for some reason this logo convinces me that my sex toy is superior, bona fide, fun, and oh-so-sexy. If you’ve ever been to a Hustler Hollywood store, you know what I’m talking about!) Because it’s so small, it’s really easy to hide or tuck away if the need arises. They come in various colors, though the ones I’ve seen have been blue, light pink, pretty purple, and translucent red. I’m not sure if there are any more, but either way, they’re pretty and translucent. It comes in two pieces. You take the two pieces apart, slip only one AA battery inside, and they connect together again very easily. One end is a bit smaller and easy to hold, and the other is a bit wider with the vibrating mechanism inside. This is the end where the fun begins.

            The Hustler Rock-It Vibe has three little metal nubs at the end, and these are the nubs that make contact with your naughty nubs to give you that oh-so-vibrant vibration. Of course the whole toy vibrates, but most of the sensation is concentrated on the three metal nubs at the end.

            The Rock-It Vibe has three settings – open (to open the toy to put the battery in), off (to turn it off) and on (to turn it on.) Because of this, there isn’t much variety when it comes to this toy. Of course, it’s small and cheap, so you get what you pay for. Some toys offer various vibration settings, but those usually are bigger and cost more. The one setting the Rock-It Vibe has is about average. It’s not the most intense sensation I’ve ever felt on my naughty bits, but it’s also not so gentle that you don’t feel anything at all. My guess would be for those who are used to more, this toy is a bit mediocre. For those who are used to less, this might be too much. It’s perfect for people like me who are curious but not too serious about these sort of things.

            The Rock-It Vibe isn’t really made for insertion (though I’ve tried that), but mostly as a great tool for all around body massage (particularly on one’s happy bits!) After prolonged use, the vibration can lose its intensity. I think this is because the body becomes accustomed to the sensation and starts to lose, for the moment, some sensitivity. Because of this, I don’t like to rely only on the Rock-It Vibe, but mainly use it for happy fun time foreplay or in addition to other techniques or toys. It’s not just for genitals, either. I like to use mine on my nipples sometimes, and I could only imagine the fun that would be have with the vibration applied to nipple rings! (too bad I had to take mine out!)

            A few fun features of the Rock-It Vibe that make it, in my opinion, a par above other cheap little vibrators is the fact that it’s waterproof. For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of pleasure in a shower, I’d highly recommend it! The Rock-It Vibe is a great little waterproof toy to take in the shower with you if you want a little something extra, though I’m not sure how well it would do completely submerged. One con of this, however, is that rust and mildew (or at least, what I think is mildew) tends to build up inside because of the moisture, no matter how hard you try to keep it dry and clean. This doesn’t affect the performance of the product at all, and the outside is very easy to keep clean, but it still makes it look a little less pretty. I’ve had mine for about two years, and while I don’t use it all the time, it still works just as well as the day I bought it. Compared to other vibrators and toys I’ve had, this is a pretty good track record. (and keep in mind, I’m not one of those people who uses a sex toy a few times a day ever day, so I’m not sure how well it would stand up to heavy use! But, for those who lightly use their toys, it’s still going strong!)

            Another cute little feature is that the Rock-It Vibe lights up! I have no idea what purpose this features serves, aside from the fact that it’s kind of cool. Perhaps it can serve as an itty-bitty book light? “No, Mom, I’m just reading! Yeah! My book light… erhm, um… vibrates! Isn’t that cool?” Or maybe it helps you see your partner’s fun bits in the darkness of a room or under the sheets? Either way, it’s the only sex toy I have that lights up, so that makes it just a little more special.

            You can defiantly hear the buzzing vibration sound, though it’s pretty discrete. I’d like to point out that all the times I’ve used it before falling asleep, my husband has never ever heard it, though some people’s significant others or family members may be more observant than mine! I’d say, if sound is an issue, you’re probably safe with this one, though it is defiantly not silent.

            All in all, the Hustler Rock-It Vibe from Topco is a great little toy for those who want to have discrete fun, in the water or out, with a lover or solo, for a little erotic massage or something more – this vibrator has so many options! Not the best toy ever, but one I turn to time and time again. Hustler Rock-It Vibe – you rock!
