Destiny Day

(THE LINK FOR THE LIVE PODCAST INTERVIEW CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE)

Destiny Day was our guest this time on Nowlive with Adultmaven.  Destiny is a relative newcomer to the business having started in the business just last year (2007).  We weren’t sure she was going to make it, but she finally did show up, proving two things.  The first that it was a good thing that Diamond and I fumbled around for 45 minutes trying to come up with something to talk about and the second that I am not the only person in the world with a warped concept of time confused by time zones.  Once we had Destiny on line she was a joy to talk to and we would like to thank her again for spending time with us.

Destiny Day Talks About How Safe The Adult Industry Is

When asked about what she likes about being in porn she talks about how the safe the industry is.  “You know everyone the set, everyone is tested, you see ID’s, the girls are taken care of and everyone is respectful.”

We further talked about this, because people are always quick to point finger about everything that is wrong with the adult industry, and that it’s the fault of the directors and the production companies.  Everyone has heard the stories about the new girl on the block who gets their start in the industry by walking into a 20 man gangbang scene without any warning as to what she is walking into and how horrible it was for her.  Destiny even told us, “The agent may not have told her what the scene was she was showing up for, but when she found out she was free to say no.”  What people outside the business and a lot of those new to the business do not understand is that no one is forced to do anything.  You are allowed to say “NO” at any time for any reason.  There may be 30 to 40 girls willing to take the place of that actress that says no, but there are just as many studios willing to hire that actress that said no as well.

On another industry related note, Destiny talks about positions and the uncomfortable positions and situations that go into making scenes including hardwood floors, the hoods of cars, and positions straight out of the Kama Sutra and why no blankets are allowed on set!

Destiny Day's After Porn Plan

Destiny already has her future plans laid down for the days when she is done performing in front of the camera, which she doesn’t expect to be anytime soon.

Youth advocate center – She wants a place for kids/teenagers up until the age of 21 to have a place to go, sleep and eat where they can get support to make sure that kids have a place to go if they are in trouble to help keep them off the street and feel at home.  The idea is to give them the support that they need to make their way in the world.

Start own production company – “People tend to steal ideas.”  She wasn’t too keen on talking much about her ideas behind this outside of what she needs outside of the very basics.

Laundry mat – it sounds odd, but Destiny assures us it’s very profitable.  She won’t have to do much to maintain it, but it’s something that people will always need.
