Public Service
Out there in cyberspace, there are two other reviews of Public Service
that I could find, both complaining about "half sex scenes" and tease
sequences. I really hate to pick on the opposite sex, unless it's my
husband, but I think that the entire point of the tease is lost on most
men. I am not saying that men can't enjoy the sort of couples porn
that Wicked is known for putting out, but I have had this conversation
with men before, in fact, I have caught hell over it, men and women
just watch porn differently. I didn't find these so-called half sex
scenes nearly half as annoying as these other reviews made them out to
be. They were an interesting element that added over all to the mood of the story.
The movie wastes no time getting down to business. We find Barrett Blades character in a seedy club watching where strippers put on private sex shows. Dana DeArmond and Kelly Skyline are performing for him in the clubs "clinic" room. As the girls get it on, with Dana a thumb away from fisting Kelly, Barrett sits in the corner happy to watch and jack off. After the show he asks if there is a place the three of them can meet when they get off work. He is told that there is a motel across the street that charges by the hour. After work the girls meet Barrett at the motel. There is one problem, Barrett is seen leaving the motel, but the girls aren't.
This lands Barrett in the police station being interrogated by Jessica Drake. The next five to ten minutes or so of the movie uncovers a number of complications and/or things that make this police case interesting.
~ One of the missing girls is the daughter of a senator
~ Barrett is Jessica's husband
~ The police chief is Jessica's dad
Talk about a huge conflict of interest here. Other members of the force believe that Jessica is on the case because it would be good for her career if she could solve it because of the senators daughter. Jessica is on the case because she doesn't want anyone else fucking it up because her husband is the prime suspect. When Jessica asks to go under cover her dad is leery because of the nature of the club, and what the girls do there. He finally agrees and Jessica meets with the club owner, Eric Masterson.
I have always found the characters Masterson plays a bit odd and this time around is no different, he gets off on Jessica showing him the goods and tells her to hold out her hands. He jacks off in her hands and if it's no big deal, hands her a tissue and asks when she can start work.
After a brief tour of the club she gets to meet two of the other girls that work there, Lindsey Meadows and Darryl Hannah. It's a slow night until Chris Cannon arrives and decides that he wants all three girls. He has this school girl fetish and the three of them are dressed the part and they meet him in "detention". While he is banging Darryl and Lindsey over the teachers desk, Jessica is left to watch and masturbate at a school desk.
Later another client comes in and she is dressed in a skimpy cop outfit and she's giving him quite the show in the "interrogation" room. The show is cut short when the pay phone in there rings. It's the club owner bitching her out because she can't fuck the guys in there or he will get shut down. There is a camera in there where he can monitor what is going on. She has to take them across the street to the motel. What the hell? Talk about inconsistencies here. David Stanely needs to get his head out of his ass and pay attention to what's going on in his movie. You can fuck the clients in the school room but not the interrogation room?
A very sexually worked up Jessica goes home and attacks her husband, who she hasn't had sex with in six months, who is brooding over his cookies and milk. At least I am assuming it's milk in the glass, it's normally what goes with cookies. Right there, in the kitchen, on the table, no questions asked. Considering things haven't been so great between them, I guess this is make up sex.
The next day at the club Jessica arrives to find Darryl giving Randy Spears a blow job in the hallway. Once again, no sex in the interrogation room, but it can be done in the hall. How do the employees keep the sex and no sex zones straight that work there? Anyway, upon a brief passing encounter with Jessica Randy wants to meet her. Darryl sets it up.
Randy is drug off to the interrogation room with Jessica, who after knocking the camera off the wall, interrogates him with a blow job and sex in her police case in the missing girls from the club, after all, Randy was the boyfriend of one of the girls.
At home that night Jessica is once again having her way with Barret when the phone rings interrupting what looked like a rather interesting sex game. They have someone in custody. Looks like the case is broken and Barrett is innocent. Jessica confesses to Barrett that the entire idea of him possibly being guilty turned her on. I guess girls really do go for the bad boys. She drags him off to the club, since he was visiting the girls there and she was dancing there, gives him a lap dance and some interesting crazy girl sex that we really don't get to see much of.
Overall, an interesting storyline with a plot twist worth hanging around for that any fan of Jessica Drake's will enjoy. The sex runs the gambit from decent to unconventional to hot. I still stand by the fact that David Stanley needs to get his head out of his ass for letting inconsistencies in the movie pass unnoticed.
