First Time Lesbians 9

“First Time Lesbians 9” is a 2008 release from JM Productions and has a long line of other highly successful titles to follow.  Actually, as of this writing, “First Time Lesbians 10” has been released – so I guess I need to watch these faster.

There are four main scenes, each with a pair of ladies taking time to explore each other and themselves.  Each scene also integrates oral and dildo sex and viewers can select watching each scene in its entirety or on the type of sex they most want to see from the Chapters menu – a very nice feature to have on this DVD as some parts are much more interesting than others.

The first scene features Heather and Meesha.  Sadly, I don’t know who is who – what with it being their first time and all.  The lady beginning the chapter is shown using a small white plastic vibrator (the cheap kind) to stimulate her nipples and breasts.  If she didn’t have the “porn nails of death” on her fingers, I’d be more excited by what I see.  With them, I’m just scared she’s going to cut an artery if she claws herself.

She takes direction well and we know that because we can hear director Jim Powers coaching her over the music.  Sadly, you can only hear her suck air in through her lips before it’s monotonous.  She then moves into the corner of the room to sit on the floor and continue using the vibrator on her breasts as well as her pussy this time.  There must have been some serious budget constraints because they have music for the scene but no furniture, or decent lighting, or extra outlets for plugging in the equipment.  You can see all the cables running into the wall outlet near her as she sits on the carpeted floor of what looks like a house undergoing foreclosure.  Once Powers gets the camera angles and actress adjusted, though, viewers are treated to her liberal use of the vibrator on her pussy.  At least you can tell she enjoys it as you see her labia swell and her juices drip.

Outside looking in the window is our other starlet and she happily joins in the fun.  From here the music quits and there are awkward bumps and knocks from the filming crew trying to reposition themselves as well as coached moans and groans coming from the two girls.  If the crew had stayed quiet and not been distracting by taking flash still photos which make the scene jump or appearing on the walls in shadows, it would have been much easier and nicer to get into watching them enjoy oral, strap-on, and double-headed dildo sex.  Also, I’d like directors to understand that while an open, dripping pussy is arousing being able to see her kidneys from here isn’t when they pull it open too wide.

Our next scene features Kristina and Debbie.It begins with more dialogue than simple grunts and moans as the first one did, but it’s not that much better.  Impromptu banter between two girls who are obviously not sure what to do is so unnecessary.  When I watched this with friends, both males and females stated that this was their least favorite couple.  The room at least has furniture and you don’t hear the director screaming instructions, but the banal self-commentary and uninterested looks don’t help drive up the excitement.  The blonde (again, I don’t know who is who since it’s their first time!) is the only one who seems interested and actually looks as if she might have done this before.

The use of flashlights to illuminate the dark areas where oral sex is taking place is just hokey.  Instead of trying to make sure camera angles are correct and proper lighting is being used, they just flash some extra light and hope you can see it.  Sadly, it doesn’t really help – it just washes the scene out.  I will, though, give them credit for being neatly trimmed instead of badly shaved as it does enhance the look of their pussies nicely.  As they lie on top of each other and grind while kissing you can actually begin to get aroused by them.  And, at least they take turns eating each other out.  Once the silver vibrator comes out, you can pretty much predict what will happen next and they don’t disappoint.  If only Powers’ voice wasn’t bleeding through.It really distracted from watching an excellent climax from each of the actresses.

Melinie and Ria star in the third scene.  It’s easier to tell which actress is which because the scene starts with both sitting on a couch and you can hear Powers asking them questions.  Ria is from Brazil and Melinie supposedly has a birthday party to go to but is doing him a favor by introducing Ria to the joys of lesbian love.  How sweet.  This was my least favorite couple when I screened it by myself and when I viewed it with others they were surprised that I liked the previous couple more than these two.  Part of it comes from Powers’ voice and direction being too annoying as he vocally and physically directs them throughout the scene.  Also, Melinie looks too much as if she’s had one too many of something in order to be in the scene.

After they show off their panties or lack thereof for Powers, the gals frolic on the blanket-covered couch in what looks like someone’s basement and answer more questions.  Ria confesses that she works for an escort service and Melinie is directed to tell the camera how much she loves eating pussy.  So much for spontaneity….  Melinie shows off her pussy which should have either been shaved or waxed more because the stubble is unattractive.  Equally unattractive is hearing Powers tell Ria to spit on her ass over and over and over.  The flashlight lighting is distracting and when Powers has to physically place his hands on Melinie to keep her pussy in frame, I turned it off.  Everyone wanted to see what else would happen and we all got quite a laugh later when he dumps a trash bag full of dildos in front of the girls for them to use.  However, even using them didn’t make anyone more excited and finally I won the argument and switched to the next scene.

Finally, Vixxen and Shelby are presented for the final chapter.  In a setting reminiscent of the ones used in a previous movie I reviewed, “Girls Will Be Girls,” they’re outside on the porch and jokes are made about being “lipstick lesbians” as one plants a big red lipstick mark on the other’s ass.  The scene is full of camera clicks and advances as crew members take still photos.  The flash is really, really annoying and the conversation by guys in the background don’t help either.  There’s not much more to add about this scene as it’s the shortest of the four, but I will say I found it refreshing to watch two women who at least seemed to be enjoying each other.  There’s nothing worse than watching someone who’s not interested in what’s happening pretend to care about it.  These ladies were exciting and actually were my favorites as well as the rest of the group’s.  Simple oral sex and toy usage – That’s all there was and that’s all that was needed.  A pity we had to wait until the end to see it, but that will get people to watch all the way through, I guess.

In addition to the four chapters, the DVD offers a slide show from the chapters as well as behind the scenes video.  The video features are really fun to watch and actually can be more interesting than the featured chapters.  Bloopers and outtakes help liven the mood and give an insight into the real part of making porn.  I’m glad they were added….I happily would watch those 15 minutes again.

All-in-all, it’s not a terrible movie.  However, it’s also not one that’s going to be taking home too many awards.  It’s fun to watch if you’re into lesbian sex.  If not, you might still find it interesting.  For me, it was enjoyable but isn’t one that will stay in my library.  I’m waiting to see what comes in “First Time Lesbians 10.”
