Anyway, it's no accident that my review of Upload is closer to my overall writing caliber -- it was an archetypal story, and the performers were able to handle that aspect as well as gonzo sex. In porn features, it is absolutely crucial the story be extra strong yet doable for the talent pool, because extraordinary acting (which rescues slighter stories in mainstream and indie), is simply not available. I know, a major compliment and a buck will get me a cup o' java, but at least here's somebody I can run some edgy ideas by.
